Project Name: Museum of Caucasian People

1. A museum where daily lives of many of the peoples of the Caucasus are transferred, folk dances, traditional clothing and culinary cultures are introduced

Project Objective: Kars province is a region where Caucasian culture is intense because it is located in Caucasus region and it hosts many Caucasian people especially in historical process. It is important to transfer this culture mosaic to tourism and to future generations. In this way, Kars will be introduced as a city where Caucasian peoples and culture live.

When the geographical location of Kars province is examined, it is seen that it is in the South Caucasus. This geographic location and the wars in the historical process caused many Caucasian people to emigrate. In this way, the Caucasus Culture settled in the province and still live in this culture. As the first republic of Anatolia is known, the first civilian constitution of Kars is Cenubi Garbi Caucasian Government. The transfer of all these cultural values to future generations and tourists will prepare the environment for the Caucasus Culture. In addition, the province will prepare the environment for the cross-border cooperation with the Caucasus States through the museum. Activities can be organized in cooperation with Caucasian Peoples in various periods of the year.
